Feldner Mühle is breaking new ground: The leisure facility for young people with disabilities in Villingen, idyllically situated on the Brigach river, has been transformed into an “extraordinary, animalistic, inclusive” residential group for special children and young people.
“In the meantime, our restructuring has taken effect. We now operate as a large care facility for mentally disabled and traumatized children. There are currently six children living at Feldner Mühle. All six children have been taken into care by the youth welfare office and placed with us. The children are between 4 and 12 years old. Our goal is still to obtain the operating license so that we can finally get the right daily rates for our guests,” says Mr. Mäder, head of the support association.
