Departmental cooking in the Werner Wohnbau canteen

Last Friday, the Werner Wohnbau canteen was the setting for a culinary event: In a relaxed atmosphere and in a strong team, people cooked, chopped and sweated together – and the results were impressive.

The aim of the departmental cook-off was not only to conjure up a delicious dish, but also to strengthen cohesion within the departments. All employees, whether experienced amateur chefs or newcomers, contributed their ideas and implemented them with great enthusiasm. They chopped, rolled, stirred, pressed, cooked and, of course, enjoyed together.

For the main course, the department opted for a traditional, hearty menu: homemade beef roulades, homemade spaetzle and refined red cabbage. Every step, from preparing the roulades to shaping the spaetzle, was carried out with outstanding teamwork.

The crowning glory was a delicious dessert: hot love – vanilla ice cream, accompanied by hot raspberries.

For one afternoon, the Werner Wohnbau canteen was more than just a place to eat – it became a center for creative exchange and shared enjoyment. The departmental cooking was a complete success.

We are already looking forward to the next team event and are excited to see what culinary highlights await us then!
