3. data categories, purpose of data processing and legal basis
We store the personal data you provide as part of the application process. This applies both to applications for specific
job advertisements and to unsolicited applications, regardless of whether you submit them digitally or offline by post. Data from paper applications
are manually transferred to our applicant management system and then destroyed.
The data you provide is divided into the following categories for processing:
Contact details (name, address, e-mail, telephone/cell phone number)
Additional questions depending on the respective tender (e.g. driving license)
Curriculum vitae, in particular details of professional experience and training,
Competencies,
Certificates, qualifications, awards and language skills,
Files and documents provided via upload
Letter of motivation
If applicable, time-delayed video recording for voluntary answers to questions
Application photo
If applicable, information (How did you hear about us?)
In addition, we compile data on the assessment and evaluation in the application process and document the application process as a history.
The legal basis for data collection and processing as part of the application process is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b), f) GDPR and Section 26 para. 1 BDSG.
In addition, your separate consent may be required in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a), 7 GDPR in conjunction with Section 26 para. 2 BDSG. § Section 26 para. 2 BDSG as a data protection law
permission regulation.
If you have given us your permission to store your personal data beyond the application process for a specified period of time or
to use the data within the Group for similar recruitment processes, the legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a) GDPR in conjunction with Section 26 para. 2 BDSG.
In order to safeguard legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR, we store so-called “core data” (first and last name, place, date of birth,
date of receipt of previous applications) relating to your application in order to check duplicate applications on the basis of this data. Our legitimate interest lies in
saving resources on the part of the controller and the data subject.

If there is no statutory retention period, the data will be deleted as soon as storage is no longer necessary or the legitimate interest
in storage has expired. If no recruitment takes place, this is usually no later than six months after the application process has been completed. The background to this is
that we can answer any follow-up questions about the application and meet our obligations to provide evidence under the Equal Treatment Act.
The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
In the event that you consent to further storage of your personal data, we will transfer your data to our applicant pool. There
the data will be deleted after 12 months.
The rump data will be stored for 12 months after the rejection.

6. your rights as a data subject as an applicant
The company for which you have applied remains your contact in matters of data protection, it fulfills the information obligations according to Art. 13 GDPR and
will answer your data subject inquiries regarding your data subject rights if necessary.
As the data subject, you have the following rights:
the right to information in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR,
the right to rectification pursuant to Art. 16 GDPR,
the right to erasure pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR,
the right to restriction of processing pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR,

The restrictions under Sections 34 and 35 BDSG apply to the right to information and the right to erasure.
