Linkenheim-Hochstetten consists of the districts of Linkenheim, Hochstetten and the Linkenheim industrial estate. The municipality is surrounded by agricultural land and some wooded areas and is located in the Upper Rhine Plain. The municipality is well connected to the transportation network. The A5 highway runs in the immediate vicinity and provides access to the surrounding towns and regions. There are also several federal highways that run through the municipality. Local public transport is provided by bus routes.

The town has a good infrastructure with various stores, supermarkets, restaurants and service facilities. There are also kindergartens, schools and sports clubs in the municipality. Among other things, Linkenheim Castle, a historic building that is now used as the town hall, is well worth a visit. There are also opportunities for leisure activities such as cycling, hiking and excursions into the countryside in the surrounding area.

Overall, Linkenheim-Hochstetten is a quiet community with a rural atmosphere and at the same time offers good connections to larger towns and the Rhine-Neckar region.
