Hometown meets big city: WERNER WOHNBAU develops Hochpunkt M

At WERNER WOHNBAU, we bring the quality of Black Forest living to the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region.
In Mannheim’s FRANKLIN district, we are developing Hochpunkt M – a striking 15-story residential building with around 200 modern condominiums. This project forms part of one of the largest urban development initiatives in Baden-Württemberg.

Hochpunkt M: Part of a visionary architectural concept

Our Hochpunkt M is the final building block of the urban development concept “HOME”: Four distinctive high-rise buildings together form the word HOME – a symbol of modern, urban living with identity. We are proud to contribute to this visionary project with our company.

“FRANKLIN stands for forward-looking, sustainable living – values that we also embrace and want to pass on here in our hometown,” says our Managing Director Alexander Werner.

Diverse housing mix for modern urban living

We are planning approximately 200 condominiums with living spaces ranging from 57 to 80 square meters—ideal for singles, couples, and young families. Additionally, commercial spaces will be developed on the ground floor to create a vibrant neighborhood atmosphere.

Sustainability is more than just a trend for us: Hochpunkt M is being constructed according to the energy-efficient KfW 40 standard (QNG certified).

  • Building application: still in 2025

  • Construction start: expected in 2026

  • Construction period: approx. three years

Werner Wohnbau – Quality from the Black Forest

For decades, we have been a family-owned company dedicated to sustainable housing concepts and affordable living spaces. With up to 450 homes built annually, we are among the leading project developers in southwestern Germany. In addition to row and semi-detached houses, we also plan and construct multi-family homes, care facilities, and senior living communities—across Germany at seven locations.

To meet the growing demand for housing in the future, we are not only expanding our projects but also our team: We are continuously looking for qualified professionals and dedicated employees who want to help shape the living spaces of tomorrow with us.

“Living space doesn’t create itself – it takes people with passion, skill, and determination. That’s why we invest not only in our buildings but also in our team,” says Alexander Werner.

With Hochpunkt M, we’re shaping the future of living – right in the heart of Mannheim.

With the project in Mannheim, we are building a bridge between hometown and big city, between tradition and innovation. For us, Hochpunkt M is more than just a building – it is a symbol of our commitment to creating sustainable living spaces across Germany.
