WERNER WOHNBAU is pleased with the on-schedule construction progress at the FRANKLIN-Sullivan site in Mannheim. The shell construction of this forward-thinking residential neighborhood is nearing completion – as planned, it will be finished by the end of September 2025.
In parallel with the shell construction, the first interior works have already begun: windows are currently being installed in several buildings, façades are being insulated, and preliminary installations for heating, plumbing, and electrical systems are underway. The underground garage and basement levels are also making visible progress. Interior finishing for the new urban quarter will begin in autumn 2025.
With an investment volume of around 60 million euros, a modern, barrier-free residential quarter is being developed on the FRANKLIN site, combining sustainable urban development with social diversity. The close collaboration with the City of Mannheim and partners such as GBG Mannheim, which will take over two of the residential buildings, highlights the project’s strong regional ties and shared commitment to future-ready housing.
As an experienced property developer from the Black Forest, WERNER WOHNBAU brings its longstanding expertise, high quality standards, and core values to the project. The new residential quarter is being built on a site that symbolically represents urban transformation and modern living concepts.
The completion of the entire construction project – including the generously designed outdoor areas – is scheduled for the third quarter of 2027.
