On Saturday, the 15th Real Estate Fair Cologne took place at the Neven DuMont Haus. Between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., everything revolved around the topics of buying, selling, financing and tenancy law – and for the first time, the focus topic of energy took center stage.
The Energy Forum, which was included in the trade fair program for the first time this year, offered a wide range of presentations and discussion panels on energy-efficient refurbishment, funding opportunities and sustainable energy and heating concepts for residential properties. The high number of participants clearly showed that energy efficiency and sustainability are key issues for owners, investors and developers today.
Our colleagues Andrea Kilian and Nadine Rentsch from the Essen office were also active on site. They presented the Cologne-Sürth “Blumsches Quartier” and Cologne-Elsdorf, Fuchskaule projects to an interested audience – two current projects that not only impress with attractive residential concepts, but also with a focus on modern energy solutions and sustainable construction methods.
The trade fair offered visitors an excellent platform for exchanging ideas with experts from the real estate sector. Numerous information stands, personal consultations and a varied lecture program made the day an informative experience for owners, prospective buyers and trade visitors alike.
With its clear focus on current challenges such as energy efficiency, the 15th Real Estate Fair Cologne provided important impetus – and once again confirmed its status as the central platform for the sector in the region.
