Participation

a) Anyone who owns and lives in a house or apartment built by Werner Wohnbau GmbH & Co. KG is eligible to participate. Minors require the consent of their legal guardians to participate. Employees of Werner Wohnbau GmbH & Co. KG and their relatives are excluded from participation. One entry per household is permitted.

b) A person takes part in the favourite place competition by uploading one or more photos of their favourite room on our landing page. What makes your favourite place so special to you?

c) The closing date for the competition is 22 March 2026. In online competitions, all nominations submitted by 11:59 pm German time on the closing date at the latest will be included.

Implementation and processing

a) The winners will be selected by a jury appointed by Werner Wohnbau GmbH & Co. KG.

b) Further details about the respective prize (including any restrictions, required cooperation or costs that apply when claiming or for claiming the prize) can be found in the competition information.

c) The winners will be informed by Werner Wohnbau GmbH & Co. KG by email. This prize notification will be sent to the email address you provided when taking part. If a prize notification cannot be delivered, Werner Wohnbau GmbH & Co. KG is not obliged to make further enquiries. If the winner does not respond within two weeks of the notification being sent, the claim to the prize expires and a new winner will be chosen.

d) Prizes cannot be paid out in cash.

e) The date for the professional photo shoot will be arranged individually with each winner.

f) Participation in the competition is free of charge, with the exception of transmission costs incurred according to the tariff of your mobile or internet provider. There are no hidden follow-up costs.

g) By taking part, the nominating person (this also applies to other persons who do not finish in places 1 – 3) agrees that, in the event of a win, the first name provided, the first letter of the surname and the place of residence provided may be published by Werner Wohnbau GmbH & Co. KG. This applies during and after the competition. The data may be published in connection with any photos submitted in all print, TV, radio and online media.

h) Participation in the competition requires that the image data resulting from the professional photo shoot may be used for marketing purposes by Werner Wohnbau GmbH & Co. KG.

Other provisions

a) Werner Wohnbau GmbH & Co. KG accepts no liability for data loss, in particular during data transmission, or for other technical defects.

b) Werner Wohnbau GmbH & Co. KG reserves the right to exclude participants from the competition due to false information, manipulation or the use of unauthorised aids.

c) Recourse to legal action is excluded.

d) The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies exclusively.

e) Should individual provisions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining conditions of participation shall remain unaffected.

f) These conditions of participation may be changed by Werner Wohnbau GmbH & Co. KG at any time without separate notice.

1.) Processing of your personal data as part of the competition

Your personal data is processed by us for the proper implementation and processing of the competition and for sending the prize.

Your data will not be passed on to third parties beyond this in connection with the competition.

The legal basis for this processing of your personal data is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).

If we publish the first and last names of the winners separately on our Instagram or Facebook profile and on our website, this will only be done with the prior express consent of the winners in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

2.) Storage period

After the end of the competition, your personal data processed in connection with the competition will be deleted no later than three months after the end of the competition, unless there is valid consent for further processing and/or we continue to have a legitimate interest in further storage.

3.) Your rights as a data subject

Where the respective legal requirements are met, applicable data protection law grants you the following rights as a data subject:

Every data subject has the right of access under Art. 15 GDPR, the right to rectification under Art. 16 GDPR, the right to erasure under Art. 17 GDPR, the right to restriction of processing under Art. 18 GDPR, the right to notification under Art. 19 GDPR and the right to data portability under Art. 20 GDPR, insofar as the respective requirements stated there are met

You can change or withdraw your consent with effect for the future by notifying us accordingly.

Right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority

You have the right to contact the data protection supervisory authority and obtain information there about your rights under the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and other data protection regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). In addition, the supervisory authority is the point of contact for complaints about the processing of personal data.
